straps positioned too close to the toes: the front strap lands directly across the widest, highest part of your big toe joint which will destroy your feet if you have even slightly protruding toe joint. The strap is quite lose which not only does not secure the foot but you'd inevitably end up walking off the shoebed entirely. May work better for wider, very straight feet.

Firstly, these sandals are beautifully made. Unfortunately thy were far too big for me. I am UK 6.5 however, I noticed on the shoe box that the sizing is for a 40 (which is normally a UK 6.5) actually states the sizing is for a UK 7 to 7.5. Perhaps an idea would be to shoe the manufacturer sizing as per the product box. I feel I have just wasted money on postage and returns on a product that was never going to fit me.
