Battle tested in Yellowstone. Very comfy after hours of activity. Definetely recommended. I didnt experience rain a lot so cant comment about that. Blue color one looks amazing. It breathes well

Was looking for a more rugged trail shoe and decided to give these Moab Speed 2 a try. I have found them to be very comfortable and stable whether walking trails or sidewalks. Now let's see how durable the sole will be.

Purchased for vacation with a lot of diversified walking. True to size, very comfortable with good ankle support

They are light but supportive and very good for light hiking

Comfortable shoe, but not the outstanding alternative to the Moab that I expected after reading reviews. If you like the Moab then you'll love this shoe which for me fit just like the Moab but lighter and more flexible. After recently using some lower drop trail shoes, the 10mm heal to toe drop bothered me a little. For some reason these shoes, and the Moab, slap the pavement whereas other trail shoes do not. The toebox fit is just like the Moab - a little tight - but the flexible upper helps to relieve some pressure, although the top gathers in a wrinkle over the toebox. Overall a nice alternative shoe for short hikes and around town but won't be my go-to hiker.

I made my way back to Merrell after several years in absentia. These are my latest purchase, and I am very happy.

Merrell is the shoe that best fits my feet, I have had many pairs of their shoes and enjoy the durability, comfort and styles that they offer.

These Moab 2 are used on trails at the various nature preserves in our region which is hilly, sanding and rocky. Looking forward to many hikes with these shoes.

These shoes were my favorite shoes when I first bought them. I could take them on walks, hikes, and just daily errands and it felt like I was walking on a cloud. Unfortunately before the end of one year with them, holes started appearing in the mesh and if I stepped in the shallowest of puddles on a drizzly day my socks would be thoroughly soaked. Wish I could recommend for the comfort, but they should be classified as indoor shoes for the fragility of the outside.
