I've been buying Merrels, both conventional and true boots, for 12+ years. They're still some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, even brand new. Shame my feet like to be problematic, but it's always been quick and simple to get shoes shipped to and back, if not especially fast. Or I'm just impatient.

very comfortable and waterproof as advertised in wet weather

I have owned several pairs of these shoes. They are very comfortable but their consistent flaw is that the Gore-Tex waterproofing last for only about a month of regular use. I have found that the basic waterproofing in the Moab 3 Waterproof shoes lasts a little longer (although still not very long).

I’ve had 2 pairs. The most comfortable shoes. Long lasting on the job site. My feet never hurt

wear them every morning right after dawn about 4 miles on path through woods with my dog

usually wet and uneven path. they have kept my feet totally dry and comfortable while giving great stability

These are for my wife, as she finds "men's" shoes more durable. These shoes are comfortable, give good support and WATER PROOF! My wife loves the pair of non-water proof Marrells, however, those are beginning to wear. So, she needed a pair that are water-proof: Wha-La! She finds the water-proof shoes to be warmer, as we are experiencing a cooler winter here in North Carolina.
